The origin

Cheng Huang Temple was founded in 1748, and masterfully restored in 1924.

and Cheng Huang was homored as "Wei-Ling Kung" by Emperor Guangxu of Qing Dynasty(1888) and the temple was even appointed as one of the royal temples.
